Cleveland State has already started living up to monumental expectations with a win. On November 13th in Nashville the Vikings shocked the 7th ranked Commodores, 71-58.
This was an unexpected win for the Vikings over a very good team.
Cleveland State got the win while beating Vanderbilt big in assists and less so in shooting.
Shooting 50% from the floor, the Vikings easily outpaced the Commodores who struggled with 35%. The 13 assists from Cleveland State outpaced the six by Vanderbilt.
D`Aundray Brown led the Vikings against the Commodores with 18 points on 60% shooting in 29 minutes. Brown also had a game-high seven steals to lend a hand in the victory.

All in all, this was a good early win for Cleveland State. If they're looking to outperform preseason expectations, this game is a good start.
