Cleveland State Slips With Loss To Green Bay, 71-67

On February 21st away from home, the Vikings were beaten by the Phoenix, 71-67, in conference action.

A couple items of note about these two teams: According to the RPI rankings, Cleveland State was the better team, #83 to #160. The Vikings had already seen the Phoenix this year and had beaten them 78-68.

Green Bay battled tough and came out ahead in free throw shooting and three pointers.

The Phoenix were solid at the line, hitting 70% of their free throw attempts to 44% for the Vikings. Green Bay got too many quick points off threes, with 30 points of its total coming from three-point range and 21 points for Cleveland State.

Anton Grady led all scoring for the Vikings with 23 points on 66% shooting in 31 minutes.
