StatSheet is projecting Cleveland State to make the NIT as a three seed. The Vikings are #57 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 20-5 overall record and a 10-3 record in the Horizon.

During the last four games, Cleveland State held its own with wins against UIC, Loyola (Chicago), and Youngstown State but also struggled with a loss against RPI #93 Valparaiso.

Cleveland State has a 4-3 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-0 record against the RPI Top 50 but no record against AP ranked teams. While the Vikings have two quality wins including RPI #50 Akron and RPI #25 Vanderbilt, they're also dinged by two bad losses including RPI #160 Youngstown State and RPI #246 Hofstra.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Purdue (15-9, 5-6 Big Ten, StatRank #57), Brigham Young (20-6, 8-3 West Coast, StatRank #42), Arkansas (16-8, 4-5 SEC, StatRank #65), and Texas (15-9, 5-6 Big 12, StatRank #55).
